How to register the Desktop App

Description

After installing the Banyan application you will need to register with your companies organization. This article outlines the steps to register the Banyan application on a desktop machine.

 

Resolution

1. Open the Banyan application. You will be prompted for an Invite Code. This will be provided by the team at your company that manages the Banyan configuration or IT team.

2. Login to your companies Identity Provider (Okta for this example).

3. Select your Device Ownership (you can choose between Corporate Dedicated, Employee Owned, Corporate Shared, or Other) and enter your One Time Password. When you entered the Invite Code, a One Time Password was sent to the the email associated with your IDP login.
