Demo license has expired and needs to convert the SRA VM to full featured license
This requires the full featured license purchased and linked to the MySonicWall account
Previously the recommendation to convert from demo to full featured was re-deploy the OVA. This is no longer required.
step 1) access the hidden diag page on the virtual applaince by going to https://{ip.address}/cgi-bin/diag
step 2) select "internal settings"
step 3) click the "reset licenses and security services info" button
step 4) click "go back" on the left side of the screen
step 5) Contact customer service and explain the situation, ask them to "reset the trust" on the Demo serial number
step 6) register the SRA VM like normal with the full featured serial number
a) under System | Licenses select "Activate Upgrade or renew"
b) fill in username and password for your MySonicWall account
c) enter the full featured serial number, Authentication code, friendly name, and submit
you should find that the system takes you back to show the licenses you have,
if they are not correct, you may be required to refresh the screen, or clear the cache and cookies on your browser
