Configuring License Offline

SMA continues to support the offline (manual) licensing model. This is used when appliances are upgraded with an existing license and for customers who deploy their appliances without an available connection to the License Manager back end.

For new installations, the default is online license registration.

1. In AMC, navigate to System Configuration > General Settings > Licensing and click Edit.

   The Manage License page is displayed.

2. Append ?advanced=1 in the URL.

   The Manual Licensing section is displayed.

   

3. Click Import License….

4. On the Import License page, click Choose File to select the license file.

   

5. Locate the license file on your device and click Open.
6. Click Upload.

The license is successfully uploaded and you have successfully registered your SMA appliance.
