Moving Endpoints Between Groups

You can reassign one or more endpoints to a different group within the same tenant at any time using the ACTIONS menu in the Endpoints view. The multi-step Move to Group wizard lets you select a destination, preview the change, and confirm before anything is moved.

To move endpoints between groups

  1. Navigation to Tenant view > Endpoints (left sidebar) > Select endpoint(s) > ACTIONS > Move to Group

  2. Go to Endpoints in the left sidebar.
This shows all active endpoints for the current tenant with columns: Group, Hostname, Machine GUID, Local IP, OS, Agent Version, Device Isolation, Created At.

  3. Select the endpoint(s) to move.
Tick the checkbox on the left of each endpoint row. Multiple endpoints can be selected for a bulk move.

  4. Click the ACTIONS button (top-right, with drop-down arrow).
A dropdown menu appears with options: Archive Device, Endpoint Scan, Isolate Device, Unisolate Device, Uninstall Agent, Move to Group.

  5. Choose Move to Group.
The Move to Group wizard dialog opens. It has three steps shown at the top: Selected Group > Summary > Result.

  6. Select the Destination group.
The dialog shows the current group in the breadcrumb (e.g. Main Account / Tenant / Group) and lists all available groups as radio buttons. Use the Search box to filter. You can also click + Add New Group to create a new group without leaving the wizard.

  7. Click NEXT.
A confirmation popup appears The selected endpoints will be reassigned to the specified group. If you proceed, the selected endpoints will be moved. If you cancel, no changes will be made.

  8. Click CONFIRM in the confirmation popup.
The wizard proceeds to the Result step, showing a live progress indicator: Success / Failed / In Progress.

  9. Review the Result and click CLOSE.
Each endpoint row shows its old group → new group and a Completed badge (e.g. Group → Group1 | Completed). A green toast notification Endpoints moved successfully ! confirms the operation.

An endpoint belongs to one group at a time. After the move, the Group column in the Endpoints list updates immediately to show the new group name.

The + Add New Group link inside the Move to Group dialog lets you create a group on the fly without navigating away from the Endpoints view.
