• Most popular browsers are supported, but Google Chrome is preferred for the real-time graphics display on the Dashboard.

What's New

This release introduces major enhancements to security, visibility, and management flexibility for SonicWall firewall environments. Key new features and improvements include:

• Support for SonicOS 8.2.1 firmware, enabling new SD-WAN features, Indicators of Compromise (IoC), Firewall Active-Active DPI High Availability, and encrypted log transfer.
• Support for NSv XS, a small form-factor, single-core virtual firewall, expanding NSM management to lightweight virtual deployments.
• Introduced the NSM Configuration Auditor, which evaluates firewall configurations against SonicWall Cysurance-aligned best-practice standards, highlights configuration gaps, and provides actionable security insights for NSM-managed firewalls with an APSS license.

• Enhanced reporting, analytics, and alerting, including:

  • Additional pre-filter criteria for custom reports.
  • Redesigned scheduled report and alert notifications with co-branding.
  • Modern look for scheduled reports.
  • New group-by data transfer options.
• Enhanced Credential Auditor, now able to detect VPN IPsec manual keys against publicly known credential databases, increasing visibility into potential credential exposure risks.

• Upgrades VPN Orchestrator with:

  • Ability to use custom zones for address objects created within the orchestrator.
  • Support for default address objects and address object groups.
  • Support for custom address objects and custom address object groups.

  • Transition to VPN Orchestrator 2.0, providing improved scalability and functionality.

    The existing VPN Orchestrator implementation is being phased out. All new features and enhancements are now available exclusively through VPN Orchestrator 2.0, which offers greater functionality and a more scalable platform for future innovation.

NSM-36297	Error occurred when browsing NSM firewall groups inside Unified Management.
NSM-36916	Unable to export or download Packet Capture from storage via NSM.
NSM-36970	Creating a new source or destination network object for Access Rule was breaking the UI.
NSM-37036	NSM Alert Digest email attachment file was blank.
NSM-37051	Golden Template errors: GEO IP API failed with Default not a reasonable value.
NSM-37150	No Alert Digest email was received by the customer.
NSM-37174	Creating a backup schedule with a space in the name gave the error: Special symbols not allowed.
NSM-37258	Scheduled reports were stuck in pending status or took a long time to complete.
