Compatibility and Installation Notes

SonicWall Mobile Connect 5.0.9 for macOS is supported on all Mac models running the following macOS versions:

• macOS 12.x (Monterey)
• macOS 11.x (Big Sur)
• macOS 10.x (Catalina)

The following Mac models are supported by macOS 10.15 (Catalina):

• MacBook (Early 2015 or newer)

• MacBook Air (Mid 2012 or newer)

• MacBook Pro (Mid 2012 or newer)

• Mac mini (Late 2012 or newer)

• iMac (Late 2012 or newer)

• iMac Pro (2017)

• Mac Pro (Late 2013 or newer)

SonicWall Mobile Connect 5.0.9 for macOS is a free app, but requires a concurrent license on one of the following SonicWall solutions to function properly:

• SonicWall firewall appliances including the TZ, NSa, NSA, and SuperMassive series running SonicOS 6.2.7.0 or higher. This includes SonicWall Gen7 TZ firewalls running SonicOS 7.
• Secure Mobile Access (SMA) 100 Series appliances running 9.0 or higher
• Secure Mobile Access (SMA) 1000 Series appliances running 12.1 or higher

• WireGuard is now supported in Mobile Connect when used in conjunction with SMA 100.
