Performing System Scan

To perform the system scan on a single device

  1. Log into the Sonicwall Unified Management.
  2. Select the tenant in the Scope Selector at the top of the page.
  3. Navigate to Capture Client > Assets > Devices.

  4. Hover over any device, click the gear icon that appears on the extreme right of the row, and select Initiate Scan.

To perform the system scan on a group of devices

  1. Log into the Sonicwall Unified Management.
  2. Select the tenant in the Scope Selector at the top of the page.
  3. Navigate to Capture Client > Assets > Devices.

  4. Select the devices on which you want to perform a scan, click icon, and then click Initiate Scan.

  5. Click OK on the confirmation prompt.

    After you confirm, you cannot cancel scan for all the devices at once and should be done individually.

    After the system scan is initiated on a group of devices, the scan status of each of the devices is independent of each other. It is recommended that you disable disk-scan notifications before initiating group scan for a group with a large number of devices to avoid email spamming.
