Licensing

This section provides information on the licensing options available for NSM SaaS and On-Premises.

NSM has subscription licenses that include support. These subscriptions provide the flexibility to license.

The NSM On-Premises licensing model is described below. For more information, refer to NSM On-Premises Licensing Model and the datasheet.

• Subscriptions are available for 1-year, 3-year, or 5-year periods.
• NSM On-Premises firewall management license is based on number of nodes to be managed in NSM. Base license entitled user can manage up to 5 nodes and add-on node licenses for additional nodes after that. The reporting and analytics licenses are based on per firewall.
• Reporting and analytics is supported for only Gen 7 and Gen 8 devices.
• NSM On-Premises firewall management and 7 day advanced reporting license is bundled with firewall security services license bundle (APSS).

• NSM SaaS licenses for firewall management and reporting and analytics are based on firewall model.
• User has an option to choose add-on reporting and analytics license for a period of 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or 365 days.
• NSM SaaS 7 days reporting licenses are bundled with firewall security services license bundle (APSS).
• Gen 6 devices must have an NSM Essential or Advanced license to be managed through NSM.
