Mobile Connect application on Android and Chromebook are able to connect to the firewall running 6.5.4.6-79n, but cannot access the local resources present behind the firewall. Mobile Connect running on other platforms such as Windows or iOS is not affected by this. The NetExtender and bookmarks continue to work for the same firewall.
Compression Control Protocol (CCP) is disabled on the firewall with the latest firmware 6.5.4.6 and Mobile Connect on Android is always using CCP irrespective of it being disabled on the SSLVPN server on the firewall. The SSLVPN server actively rejects the CCP by sending "LCP Protocol-Reject", but the CCP reject is ignored by Android MC while clients on other platforms work well.
This Issue has been investigated and reported on Issue ID: Gen6-1285.
The Mobile connect logs can be downloaded to verify this behavior. Use the KB: Collecting Mobile Connect Debug Logs On Android And IOS Devices for the same.
You will be able to see the following in the NxPluginLog.txt file.

Please contact SonicWall support to get the hotfix firmware 6.5.4.6-79n--HFGEN6-1285-3n that allows for an option on the firewall to Enable Compression Control Protocol(CCP) for SSL VPN connections.
