What's New

• NSM 2.5.0 SaaS contains the following features:

  • Integration with Cloud Secure Edge: NSM 2.5.0 brings the support for SonicOS 7.1.2 firmware version. SonicOS 7.1.2 provides Cloud Secure Edge Connector integration to enable zero-trust network access to the private apps hosted behind the firewall. NSM enables this integration on Gen7 Firewalls.

    For a firewall with NSM Advanced license, if you want to check details about System Events related to the Cloud Secure Edge connector for a firewall upgraded to SonicOS 7.1.2 in NSM 2.5.0 SaaS release, you need to reconfigure Reporting and Analytics for the firewall. Click on the "Action" column of the firewall in the NSM Inventory and then click on "Reconfigure Reporting and Analytics". This will be addressed in the upcoming maintenance release.

  • Enhanced NSM Alerts: NSM 2.5.0 adds new alerts in the management pane such as WAN Probe failure alerts, firewall reboot alert, etc.

  • Firewall Up-Time Summary Reports: Administrators can use these reports to get a summarized view of when devices last went offline or online. This will work with firewalls which have upgraded to SonicOS firmware version 7.1.2.

  • Storage settings in Templates: NSM now supports Storage settings in Templates, so that administrators can configure storage settings in multiple devices through templates.

  • GUI notification for maintenance releases: Starting NSM 2.5.0 release, a banner will shown in NSM dashboard when there is an upcoming release within 72 hours.
