Include/Exclude url with umlaut (ö, ä, ü) under CFS

Description

This document will guide us to create address objects FQDNs with umlaut (ö, ä, ü), which can be used under CFS to include or exclude these as per requirement.

Resolution

Generally, if tried to create any object with umlaut, then there is an error as below.

Here: "testgoä.de" was used.

To find out the correct FQDN hostname, it is recommended to run a packet capture for DNS (port 53) and use the FQDNs on the browser. On the packet capture, there will be an entry for the correct hostname.

Therefore, the correct hostname to be used to create the FQDN is: xn--testgo-gua.de.
