How to check if thumbprints are current

Description

This article details steps to confirm the thumbprint database of an Email Security Appliance is up to date.

 

NOTE: If the appliance has not sent an email alert to the administrator advising of stale thumbprint database, the thumbprints are current.

 

Resolution

  1. Log into the Email Security Appliance as an administrator.
  2. Delete everything after the final forward slash in the url, type diag.html and Enter.

  3.  Select Thumbprint Info.

  4. The Date and Time stamp listed in General Settings is the timestamp of the last thumbprint download.Image
