How to Change View on SonicWall Analytics

This KB Article explains how to Change View from GlobalView to GroupView on Sonicwall Analytics GUI.

SonicWall Analytics will help to group the devices in your security infrastructure using the pre-defined views. Under each view you see a summary of all of the devices that are being managed in your SonicWall Analytics security infrastructure. The appliances are listed in alphabetic order. You can change the views from GlobalView to GroupViiew accordingly to manage the devices added to analytics.

SonicWall Analytics has two different types of Views:

• GlobalView
• GroupView

Procedure:

Step 1: Log in to web Interface of Analytics using ipv4 address (/sgms).

Step 2: By default, SonicWall Analytics will display the firewall on the Home page in GlobalView

Step 3:  Navigate to Home Tab on top of the dashboard, on left side of the dashboard under the TreeControl, Right click on the GlobalView, and choose the option "Change View" as shown below

Step 4: Click on Reload Device Manager to Change view from  GlobalView to GroupView on the Analytics Management page as shown below.

Step 5: Once Device Manager gets reloaded, it will display the GroupView with Group Name and list out the number of firewalls added in the Group. Here in this example, one firewall is added under the group as shown below.
