How to block countries on NSv SonicOSX based on policy mode.

In this KB article we will block Netherland ip’s for inbound and outbound traffic.

NOTE: This KB highlights the configuration in policy mode, configuration on NSv SonicOS 7 (Classic view)  will be different.

• Create Country Group with countries you want the Rule to affect.
  Navigate to Object | Match Objects | Countries
   
• Create Deny policy rule, and add Country Group created previously.
  Navigate to Policy | Rules and Policies | Security Policy
  

Result:

• The outbound traffic to a website based in the Netherlands was blocked.
• Inbound traffic from source IP located in the Netherlands was blocked .
