Matt Neiderman

Matt Neiderman is SVP, Chief Strategy Officer at SonicWall.  Since joining SonicWall in 2016, Matt has led the company’s Legal and HR teams and, more recently, Matt has been working in Strategy and Business Development to drive and execute on SonicWall’s strategic transformation as the world’s leading cybersecurity vendor for modern Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Matt has helped to define the company’s strategic direction as its partners and customers move to hybrid-cloud security delivered as a platform of services and has been instrumental in identifying multiple acquisitions that have expanded the company’s portfolio.

From SonicWall’s divestiture from Dell to its re-focus on the channel and its transformation to a modern cybersecurity platform vendor for service providers, Matt has worked across the senior leadership and advised his colleagues on the legal, HR and strategic aspects of key decisions. Matt worked with Product and Sales leaders to define a clear set of strategic priorities for growing SonicWall’s offerings to better support and provide more unified solutions and value to its partners and then helped lead a cross-functional effort to acquire, integrate and adapt businesses that have fueled the company’s growth.  

Matt previously served as SonicWall’s senior vice president and chief administrative officer, where he helped build global legal and human resources teams, systems, policies and processes.

Before joining SonicWall, he served as both in-house and outside general counsel to multiple technology companies at various stages of formation, growth and exit. He was also a partner and led the Delaware corporate practice for a large international law firm.

Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in international business from Utah Valley University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law.
