Adding Static Routes

  1. Navigate to the POLICY | Rules and Policies > Route Policy page.
  2. Click Add.

    The Add Route Policy dialog displays.

  3. In the Name field, enter a friendly name .

  4. In the Description field, enter a descriptive comment.

  5. Select the IP Version; IPv4 or IPv6.

  6. Select the Route Type:

    • Standard Route (default)
    • Multi-Path Route
    • SD-WAN Route
  7. In the Metric field, specify the RIP metric.

  8. In the Lookup/Next Hop section, enter the following information:

    1. From the Source drop-down menu, select Any.

    2. From the Destination drop-down menu, select the destination address object.

    3. Specify the type of service that is routed from Service Object.
      • Service
      • App
  9. In the Next Hop section, enter the following information:
  10. Based on the selected route type, the Next Hop fields vary.

    1. From the Interface drop-down menu, select the interface through which these packets are routed.

    2. From the Gateway drop-down menu, select the address object that acts as a gateway for packets matching these settings.

      To create a new address object, click edit icon > New Address Object > add address object details and click Save

  11. Click Add.

The static route uses the Azure internal gateway 10.5.1.1.
