Configuring LDAP

In addition to RADIUS and the local user database, SonicOS supports LDAP and Microsoft Active Directory (AD) directory services for user authentication. For more information, refer to Using LDAP/Active Directory/eDirectory Authentication

Before beginning your LDAP configuration, you should prepare your LDAP server and your SonicWall for LDAP over TLS support. This involves installing a server certificate and your LDAP server, and a CA (Certificate Authority) certificate for the issuing CA on your SonicWall. For more information, refer to Integrating LDAP into the SonicOS Network Security Appliance.
