Introduction to Diagnostics for Classic Mode

This Administration Guide provides information about the SonicOS Diagnostics feature for the Classic Mode.

Diagnostic tools allow the administrator to test connectivity by performing a Ping, TCP connection test, DNS lookup, reverse lookup, and trace route for a specific IP address or web site. Other Diagnostics for Classic Mode tools provide a way to view or monitor the Geo and Botnet, the MX Banner, GRID result, PMTU Discovery, and other features.
