Configuring Firmware and Backup Settings

For all network security appliances that have secondary storage devices, SonicOS supports the ability to take a firmware and preference file backup (firmware snapshot), if the system limit permits.

To configure firmware and backup settings

1. Navigate to Device | Settings > Firmware and Settings.

2. Click Settings.

   The Settings dialog is displayed.

• Sending Diagnostic Reports to Technical Support
• Firmware Auto Update
• One-Touch Configuration Overrides
• Enabling FIPS Mode
• Enabling NDPP mode
