New Features in Mobile Connect 5.0

This section describes the enhancements included in Mobile Connect (MC):

• IPv6 Support for SMA1000 series: Tunnel clients are designed to support both IPv4 and IPv6 configurations on their network interfaces, providing flexible connectivity options. The android MC platform is compatible with tunnel clients and support IPv6.

The appliance address to which the MC connects can be either IPv4 or IPv6. This setup is independent of the traffic being tunneled; for instance, you can establish an IPv4 connection to the appliance while tunneling IPv6 traffic.
