We’re reaching out to inform you of an important update to your partnership with SonicWall.

Transition to the SonicWall Service Provider Plan (SPP)

Starting August 1, 2025, SonicWall will begin transitioning all Security-as-a-Service (SECaaS) partners to the Service Provider Plan (SPP). Partners will have until August 2026 to convert to SPP or another license structure. This change is designed to simplify service delivery, empower our partners, and align with our latest product offerings.

• Partner Empowerment: You will own and manage your assets
• Future-Ready: SPP supports Gen 7+ products and aligns with SonicWall’s roadmap
• Operational Simplicity: Standardized SKUs and flexible billing options

Key Differences

SECaaS (Currently end of Sale)

• Asset Ownership: SonicWall/Distributor-owned
• Product Support: Gen 6/6.5 and earlier
• Billing: Fixed
• SKU Structure: Custom
• Management Tools: Limited

SPP

• Asset Ownership: Partner-owned
• Product Support: Gen 6 and later
• Billing: Flexible (monthly/annual)
• SKU Structure: Standardized
• Management Tools: Full SPP Portal Access

Transition Timeline
