What versions of TLS are supported by Sonicwall Email Security Solution?

Resolution

The following versions of TLS are supported by Sonicwall Email security device:
 
- SSL Version 3
 
- TLS Version 1
 
- TLS Version 1.1
 
- TLS Version 1.2

- TLS Version 1.3

To manage TLS protocol versions on Email Security Solution for SMTP and HTTPS, go to MANAGE|System Setup|Server|Advanced and scroll down to the 'Manage TLS version Settings' section.

Enable or disable necessary versions for the Inbound or Outbound path from this page and click "Apply" at the bottom of the page.
 
NOTE: Please be careful while making these changes as it will affect your mailflow if it is dependent on TLS.

NOTE: If the navigation or the screenshot looks different from the one mentioned above, you may be in an older firmware version and would require a firmware upgrade. Please refer the below article to upgrade the firmware to latest version.
