Spike license

Description

Users are unable to connect when Maximum concurrent users have reached the limit. (even when spike license is enabled)

Resolution

Requirements:

>SRA Appliance

>Base user license

>Spike license

 

Action plan:

 

Step 1: SRA 1600 device used for replication, deployed with the base 45-user license.

Step 2: Enable Spike License for 50 users.

Step 3: Users tried connecting, when it reaches maximum 50- user licenses, 51st user gets an error “no more user license available (50 Maximum reached)"

Conclusion: SRA 1600 has maximum of 50-user licenses. Beyond 50, users cannot connect to the appliance.

Note:

Maximum concurrent user license:

SRA 1600:50Users

SRA VA: 50users

SRA 4600: 500 users

SMA 200: 50 Users

SMA 400:250 Users

SMA 500 VA: 250 Users
