SNMP version 3 stops working after a reboot

Description

Following a planned and manual reboot of the SonicWall, the SNMP traffic stops passing through the Appliance.

The GUI logs show the error message Invalid engineID: 0, Error ID: 1220, Category System, Group SNMP, Msg Type 8. SNMPv2c queries operate properly.

Resolution

Should you face this issue, you can contact our Technical Support team about DTS#172987 to receive the Hotfix HF172987-1n that corrects the issue.
