New SonicPoints ACi ACe and N2 support warranty Issue

If you are using new SonicPoint ACe, ACi or N2 appliances, you may find the support warranty time does not consist with the parent SonicWall device.

SonicPoint ACe, ACi or  N2  do not inherit the support from the parent SonicWall device and the support for SonicPoint ACe,ACi & N2 needs to be purchased separately.

New SonicPoints ACe/ACi/N2 comes with bundled support for 1 or 2 or 3 or 5 years, when you purchase through regular SKUs. This is a change from previous generation of SonicPoints, where support for SonicPoints was provided when there is support contract on the managing Firewall(s).

With the new SonicPoints, you need to have separate support contract for firewall and the Sonicpoints separately.

Notes: SoinicPoints purchased through Secure Upgrade Program includes 3 years Support Contract and customers need to renew the support contract after 3-years.
