How to setup RDP access using the Aventail Connect for Android

Step 1. create a host resource for the computer you will RDP to.

Save and apply pending changes.

Step 2, go to Realm | Community where the droid will connect. Under the Access Methods tab, make sure "Client/server proxy agent (OnDemand)" is selected.

Click on port-mapped configurations to create a port map RDP

Step 3, On the Mapped Mode page, under Destination resource drop down box, select the resource created above.

Make sure you change the Local Host from the default 127.0.0.1 ; In the example, 127.0.0.3 was used.

For Service Type, select "Windows Terminal Server; the Destination /Local Port will change to 3389.

Save and apply pending changes.

Step 4. Optional, On the Aventail Workplace | Shortcuts, create a shortcut for the RDP link.

Step 5, On the Android, login to the Aventail Connect application. For Instructions on setting up Aventail Connect application see KB 8559.

On the Services Tab, click on the RDP Port Map link created in Step 3.

The port map link will open the RDP session.

Login and you have access to the RDP computer
