EX SSL-VPN: "Access denied. The required system capabilities are not present, enabled, or current." when login using Connect Tunnel Client
SonicWall has witnessed an issue where users receive the error "Access denied. The required system capabilities are not present, enabled, or current." only while connecting to Connect Tunnel whereas On Demand Tunnel works fine. The error message is displayed below:
Resolution or Workaround:
The error comes when the Connect Tunnel Rule is either DENIED or is completely DELETED from the Access Control. This rule however does not effect On Demand Tunnel access in any way.
To resolve the issue create a ALLOW rule to "Built-in Connect Tunnel" resource under Access Control and it will start working properly.
