SonicWall is initiating a worldwide End-of-Sale for the Web Application Firewall (WAF) product beginning on February 1, 2020. SonicWall will no longer actively develop or sell the product. Please see the Product Lifecycle Table for a full list of key dates regarding this product.
Why is SonicWall initiating End-of-Sale for the Web Application Firewall (WAF)?
- We are working to create an integrated system that delivers faster protection, detection and correction.
- We are focusing our investments towards security solutions for the network, endpoint, cloud, threat detection, management and all data traversing in between.
- We are increasing our investments in these critical areas required exiting other product areas such as SonicWall WAF.
Is there an alternate option?
The Secure Mobile Access (SMA) 100 WAF may be an alternate option for customers who require web application protection. SMA100 WAF is a subscription service that runs on the SMA100 series appliances (SMA 210/410/500v) and protects web applications running on servers behind the SMA.
