Is NetExtender/GVC Compatible with ARM Processor? - Getting Error: 'This installer is only meant for x86 machines'

When trying to install NetExtender or GVC clients onto your machine with an ARM-based processor, you may have gotten the error 'This installer is only meant for x86 machines'.

As of writing this (on February 14th, 2024), both NetExtender and GVC currently do NOT support devices with ARM-based processors.

The only alternative we offer for machines with ARM-based processors at the moment is using MobileConnect. You can download it in the Microsoft Store, or can find it here: SonicWall VPN Clients | NetExtender & Mobile Connect. 

It should be noted however that Mobile Connect support for Windows was formally removed in 2022, thus in some circumstances it may not be compatible with the OS.  Formal ARM support for NetExtender is expected in late 2024.
