Resolution

Problem Definition:

While unjunking emails from Junk box view, we may get "Failed to unjunk emails" error message.

Resolution or Workaround:

There are many reasons the email will be failed to unjunk.This has to be identified in WebUI log. This log can be downloaded in Anti spam-Advanced page in firewall in CASS2.

 If this issue is in CASS1, the WebUI log will be there in the server where the junk store application installed.

Location: C:Program FilesSonicWallESdatacommonlogswebUI

Step1: Unjunk the email from Junk box view/Junk summary, you will get an error "failed to unjunk" then download the WebUi log.(The file name should be the current date when the email was unjunked)
Step2: Search for recipient email address (The user who wants to receive this email).
Step3: You should see the error code.

Error code Example1:

EXCEPTION THROWN MessageStoreProcessor.doDeliver(): UNABLE to deliver [ 20110215_junkbox/store_20110215175553.mlx ] ... trying backup SMTP: javax.mail.SendFailedException: Sending failed;
nested exception is:

nested exception is:
javax.mail.MessagingException: 550 5.7.1 Message rejected as spam by Content Filtering.
