How do I transfer a unit from one MySonicWall.com account to another?

Description

This article describes how to transfer a SonicWall product, along with its services, from one MySonicWall.com account to another.
Note: Before initiating the transfer, make sure that the product to be transferred is tied to the Organization Account, not to any employee. 

Resolution 

  1. Log onto your MySonicWall.com account.
  2. Under My Workspace on the left menu click on Products.

  3. Locate the Serial Number of the device(s) you would like to transfer.
  4. Select the products you want to transfer and click Transfer Products.

  5. Select Another Organization in the Transfer Products pop-up window.
  6. Enter the Destination Organization ID. Enter the Destination Tenant Name if the details are available (Optional). 

NOTE:

Products get transferred to the default Tenant of the winning organization if:

  • Provided Destination Tenant Name does not exist in the Winning Organization.
  • Destination Tenant Name is not provided.

    In the event the account to which the product is registered is no longer available or you are unable to access that account, the above transfer process is not possible. In such circumstance, kindly contact SonicWall Customer Service Team for further assistance.
