How do I put the SonicWall access point into safe mode?
Description
SafeMode will allow you to view and access your basic SonicPoint/SonicWave settings.
Resolution
- Use a narrow, straight object (e.g. straightened paper clip or toothpick) to press and hold the reset button on the SonicPoint/SonicWave for several seconds until the tool LED is blinking.
- Access the SonicPoint/SonicWave management interface via 192.168.1.20 directly from a computer connected with an RJ45 lead, and log in with admin/password.
- Â The SonicPoint/SonicWave GUI for safe mode will be displayed.
