The Real-Time Monitor provides administrators an inclusive, multi-functional display with information about applications, bandwidth usage, multi-core monitoring, and memory usage. The Real-Time Monitor comprises of a toolbar and four real-time data flows which consist of Applications, Ingress and Egress Bandwidth, Multi-Core Monitor, and Memory Usage. But it will not collect data to any database.
But the real-time application monitoring features rely on the flow collection mechanism in order to collect and display data. Before you can view the “applications” chart in the Real-Time Monitor, AppFlow Monitor, or AppFlow Reports, you must first enable and configure the flow collection feature.
Whereas NSM gives you everything you need for firewall management; comprehensive visibility and granular control and the capacity to govern the entire SonicWall network security operations with greater clarity, precision, and speed.
This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.5 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 7.X firmware.
