How to configure EPC check for Windows 10 version

Resolution

Configuration:



1. Select  End point control | Device profile | Click Add device profile.

2. In the "Name" field, enter the name that will be used to identify the profile.  


3. In the "Description" field, optionally enter a brief description of the profile that will help identify the profile.


4. In the "Device profile type" field, select 'Windows'. Click on '+' under the Current Attributes. A new window would open to add the attribute.


5. In the "Type" field, select 'Windows Version'.


6. In the "Operator" field, select '>='.

7. Specify the Major=10 and add the Minor and Build if needed.

8. Click Add to current attribute.

9. Click Accept.


How to check Major, Minor and Build version of Windows 10 machine :


1. Type Windows + R.

2. A run window will appear at the bottom left.


3. Type msinfo32 and press enter.
