SMA1000: 12.4.2 Firmware upgrade fails with error code -- 6

SMA1000: Firmware upgrade to 12.4.2-05082 fails with error code -- 6 in upgrade.log.

The upgrade fails if some very weird hostname data in the 'CRADestinationData table'.

[ 3:23] ERROR. migrate.sh returned non-zero error code -- 6. Exiting.

Check the upgrade.log for error code.

upgrade.log can be obtained from /var/log/Aventail/upgrade.log.

Run the follwing command in putty logging as a root user for the firmware failed SMA appliance.

# mysql -e 'TRUNCATE TABLE monitoring.CRADestinationData;'

Once you run the above command putty session for the firmware failed SMA appliance. Then upgrade the firmware to 12.4.2-05082.
