How to import .mib file in a GMS Virtual Appliance

Description

How to  import .mib file in a GMS Virtual Appliance

In Windows it is possible to copy the mib file to the /etc/mibs folder but not in VA you can not access these folder without root access

Cause

- If you use the Windows GMS Installation you can simply copy the required .mib files to /etc/mibs

- In GMS VA ( Virtual appliance ) you can not directly copy these files in the folder, because you have not access to it.

Therefore you need a other way to do this in GMS VA

Resolution

In GMS Virtual Appliance you can use the Filemanager to import .mib files

1) Go to the System-Interface ( the Interface which starts with appliance)

2) Select on the left site in the Menue the Topic System and the Submenue File Manager

3) Click on the (+) and then you will see a File-Selection Button

4) Click on the File-Selection and select the .mib file which you want to import
