How to convert licensing from trial to retail on SMA1000 Series Virtual Appliances?

When a SMA1000 series virtual appliance was initially registered as a trial, a specific process is required to convert it to a retail license.  This process will permit the user to apply a purchased license while retaining configuration settings set during the trial.  The steps for conversion are described below.

1. Login to the SMAs Appliance Management Console (AMC).
2. Once logged in, navigate to System Configuration | General Settings.
3. Select Edit beside Licensing.
4. Change the URL from https://ipaddress/viewLicenses.action to https://ipaddress/viewLicenses.action?troubleshoot=1
5. The page will reload and a Reset button will now be visible.
6. 
   Once Reset is selected, the appliance will reboot.  Upon rebooting, you will be able to Import the retail license on the appliance (https://www.sonicwall.com/support/knowledge-base/how-to-manually-apply-licenses-to-sma-1000-series-appliance/220609054521737/).
