How to check SSLVPN or GVC Licenses associated on SonicWall?

Resolution for SonicOS 7.X

This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.5 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 7.X firmware.

To check the number of Client licenses available on your GEN 7 TZ / GEN 7 NSA Devices follow the below steps:

1. Navigate to the Device Tab.

2. Under Settings | Licenses 

3. Search for SSL VPN and Global VPN Client and refer to the count next to the Licensing status.

Resolution for SonicOS 6.5

This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.2 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 6.5 firmware.

To check the number of Client licenses available on your TZ/ NSA Devices follow the below steps:

1. Navigate to the MANAGE Tab.

2. Under Updates select Licenses Tab

3. Search for Global VPN Client and SSL VPN and refer to the count next to the Licensing status.

Resolution for SonicOS 6.2 and Below

The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 6.2 and earlier firmware. For firewalls that are generation 6 and newer we suggest to upgrade to the latest general release of SonicOS 6.5 firmware.

To check the number of Client licenses available on your TZ/ NSA Devices follow the below steps:

1. Navigate to the System Tab.

2. Select the Licenses Tab

3. Search for Global VPN Client and SSL VPN and refer to the count next to the Licensing status.
