Capture Client – Pre-requisites for Windows

These pre-requisites need to be met before installing the Capture client on a Windows device. 

• There shouldn't be any pending windows updates.
• There shouldn't be any other endpoint security on the device.
  Note: Other endpoint securities might restrict access for Sentinel one & this might cause an issue for installation & working on the Capture client.
• Device should have Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 bundle. To check that navigate to Control Panel > Programs & Features.
  Note: If the device does’t have it installed then download it from : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads-2647da03-1eea-4433-9aff-95f26a218cc0
• Device should have .Net framework 4.7.2 & above. To check that navigate to Control Panel > Programs & Features > Turn windows features on or off.
