General

The Switch Policy > General tab is displayed by default when you select a Switch Policy.

The General tab, has the following sections and respective fields under them:

• Switch Information:

  • Switch Policy Name: Name of the Switch Policy.

• User Management:

  Table listing the Users and option to create new User Account. Below are the columns in the table

  • User Name

  • Password

  • Password Confirm

  • Privilege

• Firmware

  • Auto Upgrade: Toggle to enable or disable firmware auto upgrades.

  • Weekday: Specify the day when to auto upgrade.

  • Time: Specify the time when to auto upgrade.

  • Retry Interval (seconds): Specify the retry interval, if the auto upgrade fails.

  Auto update becomes ineffective once monthly license expired

• SNTP

  • SNTP Server: Specify the server name.

  • Port: Specify the Port number.

  • Time Zone: Specify the time zone

  • DST Enable: Enable this option if the selected time zone has Day List Saving.

  

  The DST Enable option helps users to automatically or manual adjust their system time to reflect the observance of Daylight Saving Time. If you select the DST enable toggle bar to active mode (green), the firmware upgrade and the port schedule options will be updated automatically according to this.

• Management VLAN

  • VLAN ID: Specify the VLAND ID

  • Configuration: Select the configuration from the drop-down list.
