Zones

In the Hierarchy tab, select a Zone to view the details of it on the right side panel.

You can click on the icon visible on the map or on the right side panel to navigate to respective Devices, AP Policy or Switch Policy.

When you hover over a Zone in the hierarchy tab, option to manage the Zone appear

Options:

• Edit: Click on Edit icon to open the Edit Zone pop-up

  

  • Edit the values for the following fields

    • Name

    • Description

    • Location

    • AP Policy

    • Switch Policy

  • Zone Devices: This section lists the Access Points and Switches added to the Zone. There is option to Add or Delete Access Points or Switches.

    To Add Access Points or Switches

    • Click on Add icon, to open the Edit Zone pop-up

      

    • Select the Access Points and Switches to Add

    • Click on ADD button.

    To Delete Access Points or Switches

    • Select the Access Points or Switches to Delete

    • Click on Delete icon

  • Click OK, to save changes

• Go to Zone Policy: Click on icon to go to respective AP Policy and Switch Policy.

• Go to Topology: Click on the topolopy icon to go to respective Topology.

• Delete: Click on the delete icon to delete the Zone.
