Packet Capture

Packet Capture is a debugging tool that captures wireless and wired packets. It uses the .pcap file format for display and analysis with popular tools like Wireshark.

The Packet Capture feature offers a real-time view of network traffic, which can be extremely useful for diagnosing and troubleshooting network problems. This feature enables in-depth troubleshooting by allowing users to collect packet data from a client site and save the output in a readable file.

This feature is available for SonicWave access points. Users can configure the capture settings for each SonicWave, view the status of the SonicWave, see the number of packets captured, and check the size of the packet buffer. Users can also download the captured packets file for each SonicWave.
