5 GHz 802.11ac/n/a/ax Wireless Settings

When Radio Mode is set to 802.11ac only, 802.11ac/n/a mixed, 802.11ax only, or 802.11ax mixed configure the following options:

The options may vary depending on the type of appliance you are configuring.

Radio Band The channel width used by the radio. Select one of the available radio bands.
Auto Allows the appliance to automatically detect and set the optimal channel for wireless operation based on signal strength and integrity. This is the default setting.
Standard 20MHz Channel

Specifies that the radio uses only the standard 20 MHz channel.

Wide 40MHz Channel

Specifies that the radio uses only the wide 40 MHz channel.

Wide 80MHz Channel Specifies that the radio uses only the wide 80 MHz channel.
Channel The channel the access point uses for communication. By default, the channel is set to Auto. This allows the appliance to set the optimal channel based on signal strength and integrity. You can select a single channel within the range of your regulatory domain. Selecting a specific channel can also help the appliance avoid interference with other wireless networks in the area.
Enable DFS Channels Enable this toggle button to allow wireless devices to share the 5 GHz spectrum with existing radar systems.
Enable Short Guard Interval Enable this toggle button to improve throughput in suitable environments. It applies only to 802.11ac/n/ax mode.
