Adding Resource Groups

When you create a new resource group, it is added to the list of available groups on the Resource Groups tab of the Resources page.

To add a resource group

  1. In the AMC, navigate to Security Administration > Resources.

  2. Click the Resource Groups tab.

  3. Click the + (New) icon to add a resource group.

  4. Enter a Name for the resource group.

  5. In the Description field, type a descriptive comment about the group.

  6. Select the Enabled check box to enable the resource group.

    Disabled resource groups do not allow or deny access.

  7. Select the checkbox for each resource you want to include in the group, or leave the group empty and add resources to it later. There is no limit to the number of resources that a group can contain.

  8. Click Save.
