Supported Platforms

The elements of basic VMware structure must be implemented prior to deploying the SMA 500v for ESXi. The following VMware platforms are supported:

• ESXi 6, 6.5, 7.0 and higher
• 2 vCPUs, 4G memory, 32G storage

You can use the following client applications to import the image and configure the virtual settings:

• VMware vSphere—Provides infrastructure and application services in a graphical user interface for ESXi, included with ESXi. Provides Thick Provisioning when deploying a SMA 500v for ESXi.
