Firewall Assignment in HA Mode

When a Reporting Agent pair is configured in HA mode, only one agent entry is visible in the firewall assignment drop-down — the active node of the HA pair. The user assigns the firewall to this agent as they would in a non-HA deployment. NSM automatically routes reporting traffic through the Virtual IP in the background.

If both nodes of the HA pair are visible in the firewall assignment list, HA configuration has not yet been completed. Verify that the Virtual IP has been configured and that both nodes have successfully formed the HA pair.
