Notification Summary:

As part of our ongoing effort to streamline our platforms and simplify firewall management for our customers, we are retiring SonicWall Analytics (On-Prem). Its core features are now included in Network Security Manager (NSM), which is fully integrated into the Unified Management Console.

This evolution delivers a unified view of operations across the entire security stack, providing the same deep visibility and high-performance analytics, now optimized for Gen7 and Gen8 firewalls. With NSM, users gain faster insights, more efficient management, and a seamless experience across all SonicWall solutions.

Key Dates:

  • Last Order Day Announcement: December 4, 2025
  • Last Order Day: January 31, 2026
  • End of Support (EOS): January 31, 2028

What You Need to Know:

  • You may continue using Analytics On-Prem until EOS, but only security updates will be provided.
  • After EOS, Analytics On-Prem may still be used, but it will no longer receive updates, security patches, or technical support, which may pose security, compliance, and compatibility risks.
  • Historical data will not migrate into NSM. If historical visibility is required, you may keep Analytics On-Prem running alongside NSM. Detailed steps will be included in the Migration Guide.
  • NSM SaaS or NSM On-Prem is the supported path forward, providing centralized management, reporting, and analytics in a modern, scalable platform.
  • NSM is optimized for Gen 7 and Gen 8 firewalls and backed by a robust roadmap, development, and support.
