Unable to see users on Analytics Flow Based Deployment

Description

If you already configured SSO on the firewall, but you still are not able to see the users on the Analytics reports (showing as unknown), this article will show you a quick resolution for your problem

Resolution

  1. Access the firewall locally
  2. Navigate to Device | AppFlow | Flow Reporting | AppFlow Agent
  3. On the option Report Connections On Following Updates, change from "IPFIX with Extension" to "IPFIX with Extension v2"Image
  4. Acces the Analytics again, and wait for ~10 minutes, the user shall be shown now
  5. In case the users are still not being shown, you can try to restart the Summarizer Service from ip/appliance | Deployment | Services page.Image
