If you are able to associate with the SonicWall or SonicPoint, but are unable to obtain an IP address using DHCP over the wireless connection, attempt the following:
Ensure that a DHCP scope (range of IP addresses to be automatically assigned) is configured for the WLAN on the Network > DHCP Server page.
Delete and recreate the DHCP scope for the WLAN on the Network > DHCP Server page.
Change the channel on the Wireless > Settings page of the SonicWall or on the SonicPoint > SonicPoints page for the appropriate provisioning profiles.
The WEP Key (passphrase) must occupy the entire character length, for example: If you choose WEP – 128 bit Alphanumeric (13 characters). The passphase length must be exactly 13 characters else the Wireless Adapter will not receive a WLAN IP address.
