DESCRIPTION: The log shows "Diagnostic Code A" error message
The Watchdog detected a suspended task.
This is a firmware problem detected by the Watchdog process. The Watchdog has identified a process task that appears to be hung. This is possibly due to a memory conflict, process timing issue or another process not returning proper information. By default, the Watchdog will reboot the SonicWall when it identifies a suspect hung task to keep the firewall from locking up completely. Before and after reboot, the Watchdog will issue the 'Diagnostic Code A' log message that identifies the suspect task.
You will need to contact SonicWall Tech Support to determine if we are aware of this issue and possibly run debug firmware to troubleshoot the problem. Please provide Tech Support with your SonicWall TSR, preferences file and the entire text of the 'Diagnostic Code A' message to identify the suspect task.
If your SonicWall reboots automatically and the log page displays a Diagnostics Code A error with tNetTask in the Notes column, it may be that an empty boundary string is encountered during email scanning when the Email Filtering feature is enabled on the SonicWall.
This issue can be resolved by upgrading to the latest SonicOS firmware.
If upgrading your firmware does not resolve this issue, you will need to contact SonicWall Tech Support to determine the cause of the problem and possibly run debug firmware for troubleshooting purposes. Please provide Tech Support with your SonicWall TSR, preferences file and the entire text of the 'Diagnostic Code A' message to identify the suspect task.
